Apprentice Coach - Electrical Installation
Warrington & Vale Royal College are looking to recruit an Apprentice Coach in Electrical Installation to be accountable and responsible for the efficient and effective delivery and assessment of all elements of training leading to the achievement of nationally recognised qualifications, with a focus on apprenticeship provision.
In October 2019 the College was officially commended as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and we celebrated some of the highest pass rates in England, ranking us in the top 10 nationally for the third consecutive year. Our mission is ‘Realising potential, transforming lives’. Our environment is inclusive, friendly and supportive, with high expectations for both staff and students. To thrive in our environment, you will need to be resilient, positive, able to work autonomously, have a strong work ethic, and put our learners at the heart of everything you do.
Applicants will have level 3 or above qualifications, ideally have an assessor award and a teaching qualification, and in-depth knowledge of relevant apprenticeship frameworks as well as relevant industrial experience. Holding either an IQA or V1 qualification would be preferable.
Applicants will be occupationally competent to assess candidates up to level 3 standard in Electrical Installation, and have the level 3 qualifications that the Electrical Installation industry recognises as having achieved the competence required to carry out the role.
We will also consider applications from candidates who are industry qualified and with the relevant industrial experience, who would like to have the opportunity to receive the training to progress to a qualified and experienced Electrical Installation apprentice coach.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and Prohibition Checks.
Please note that it is college policy that referees of short-listed candidates will automatically be approached prior to interview. One reference should be from your current or most recent employer.
The College operates on 2 campuses – Warrington and Winsford.
