An exciting opportunity has arisen! Birmingham Metropolitan College are currently seeking Lecturers in Podiatry to join the team at our Matthew Boulton College (1 Jennens Rd, Birmingham, B4 7PS). Please note that we have two permanent, part-time roles available (0.6 FTE, 21 hours a week).
The successful candidate will perform all aspects of teaching and learning delivery on the Podiatry Honours degree programme based within the Medical, Education, Sports Services and Health Directorate of the College and the validating University. Duties will include the preparation of classroom delivery, clinical supervision and the setting and marking of examinations. This role also includes the delivery of tutorial activity related study that can be up to Dissertation supervision at Undergraduate level.
Essential:
• BSc (Hons) in Podiatry or BSc Podiatry or equivalent award leading to Registration as a Podiatrist
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Member of the College of Podiatry
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake teacher training)
