We are looking for enthusiastic and supportive individuals to take on this important role as an Achievement Coach for ESOL. You will have an understanding of the needs of ESOL learners and in particular looked after and asylum seekers and the barriers they face in achieving their dreams. You will be expected to work closely with the ESOL team and also external agencies and therefore require excellent communication skills. You will have a vital role in supporting our ESOL students to make good progress with their learning and build the confidence they need to take their next steps in education. This role will include; liaising with external agencies for LAC meetings, monitoring attendance, providing 1-1 targeted support, tracking and monitoring student progress, liaising with parents/carers/social workers where appropriate, support students to effectively target set and action plan.
