IT Skills Support Worker

We have an exciting new opportunity for an IT skills support worker to assist adult learners develop their IT skills during a short course programme. In this role, you will guide and support a cohort of learners whilst they work through a basic IT skills programme.

You will ensure learners can access the training room, log on to a computer and view the associated course materials. You will support learners to navigate the system and access different software whilst providing encouragement and creating a positive and professional learning experience for learners.

You will have worked as an IT trainer previously and have a passion for supporting others with developing their core skills. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical terms plainly, as well as being able to create an environment where learners feel able to ask questions and seek help and advice to achieve a positive learning outcome.
