An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Finance team supporting the receipt and processing of all college’s daily income.  

Responsible for processing and monitoring income, duties will include preparing daily income sheets, cash and cheques, in addition to reconciling online enrolment fees and credit card takings.

With previous experience of using a finance general ledger system and working within an office environment, ideally within a finance department or a Cashier role, you will possess 5 GCSE’s (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent and have excellent IT skills.

You will have the ability to organise and structure your workload with minimal supervision and to meet strict deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and Business or Finance qualifications would be a distinct advantage.  Welsh Language skills at Level 3 or above in Listening and Speaking are desirable (see descriptor attached to Job Description).

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
