WHAT WE DO 

We are a large engineering department delivering quality programmes to automotive, mechanical and electrical engineers. The learners are a combination of full time students, part time, apprentices and employees from local businesses who are upskilling. The majority of the learners will be 16-17 year olds studying a full time programme

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You will deliver units from the IMI qualification suite for Maintenance & Repair, Fitting and general Mechanical content
  • You will have a mix of theory class sessions and practical sessions in the workshop
  • You are expected to support our learners throughout their course and give them an opportunity to explore and enjoy the different pathways within motor vehicle education

YOUR PROFILE 

  • You will been keen to inspire and teach young people who want a career in the motor vehicle trade
  • You will need to be qualified in the field of motor vehicle
  • Ideally you will be familiar with IMI and how it works
  • You will preferably have teaching experience, however this is not essential
  • You have industry skills and are looking to retrain with Leeds City College to work in the education sector
