As an established and successful College, we are seeking to appoint a Progress Tutor to work in Sport who is a highly committed and motivated individual with a passion for helping learners achieve success in their studies.
As the Progress Tutor you will carry out a variety of tasks including one to one and group sessions with sports students, monitoring and reviewing students’ attendance and achievement, working with at risk students as well as supporting a range of team activities such as welcome events and induction.
To apply for the Progress Tutor role you will be highly organised, an outstanding communicator and already have experience of working with, supporting and challenging young people.
The successful applicant will have a relevant level 3 qualification. A degree or high level qualification in a relevant subject area is desirable but not essential. You must have the skills and enthusiasm to support learners, as well as work in partnership with teachers and parents to enable them to achieve their goals to be a successful Progress Tutor.
