The Faculty of Science and Care offers students the opportunity to study a wide range of courses in a friendly and supportive environment with excellent teaching, high quality resources and opportunities to engage in a range of sporting, leisure and cultural activities.

We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to join our faculty and currently have vacancies for teachers of Science. The successful applicants will have experience of teaching across various levels including 16-19’s (levels 1-3) as well as 19+ and adults (levels 1-5).You will have knowledge of Access to HE and/or BTEC delivery and assessment and will be adaptable to meet the needs of our students. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both students and colleagues.

Applicants should have recent experience of teaching within one or more of the advertised area and be able to deliver the subjects in a vocational context. This can be either in your current post or as part of your PGCE. Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources.

Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector, and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

You will have a teaching qualification and be passionate about being a professional educator to young people.
