This is an opportunity, which will enable you to pass on your knowledge, skills and experiences, to Apprentices by supporting and training them in improving their own knowledge skills, and behaviours, helping them succeed and progress within their chosen career.

Contract: 37 hours per week, Permanent

Nottingham College has an exciting opportunity for experienced Full Time Assessors in a range of occupational areas:

  • Engineering
  • Electrical
  • Brickwork
  • Plastering
  • Construction and the Built
  • Plumbing and Gas
  • Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
  • Painting and Decorating

The Assessor role supports both the internal coaching / training along with the successful completion of competency and knowledge based skills that form a key part in the transition through Gateway and onto End Point Assessment.

In addition, this role will manage a dedicated caseload of Apprentices that you will oversee for the whole of their learning journey throughout the duration of their Apprenticeship as they progress into Industry.

Working very closely with the Apprenticeship Team and the Curriculum delivery team to ensure all apprentices complete their Apprenticeships in a timely manner within these key occupational areas.
