We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Construction Support Facilitator to work in our Construction Department.

The purpose of this rewarding role is to provide support with teaching and learning within the Construction Department. This will be particular in the area Carpentry and Joinery.
Your duties and responsibilities will include; facilitating classroom/workshop based Carpentry and Joinery operations to a variety of learners/cohorts, development and implementation of all aspects of health and safety within the department, co-ordinating the Joinery technicians as well as monitoring stock levels and ordering materials where necessary.
The qualifications deemed essential for this post are Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Wood Machining) or willingness to undertake at the earliest opportunity, a minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or 9 - 4) and an NVQ Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
