Gower College Swansea is looking for a motivated and engaging Career Coach to contribute to the delivery of its highly successful suite of employability programmes.  

This post offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of internal and external partners to deliver the best outcomes for those seeking to gain, retain or progress within employment as well as for employers seeking to develop their workforce.  

As a Career Coach you will work with clients throughout their employability journey to support them in identifying and overcoming barriers to gaining, retaining and progressing within employment. Liaising with a range of referral organisations and staff across the college, you will manage a caseload of clients from initial referral and assessment through to programme completion and beyond to track outcome information and onward progress.

The successful candidate will have a level 3 qualification, with experience of delivering employment-focused advice and support.   Candidates must have an understanding of barriers to employment/progression and strategies to overcome these barriers. Welsh language skills would be desirable.

Gan gysylltu ag ystod o sefydliadau atgyfeirio a staff ar draws y Coleg, byddwch yn rheoli llwyth achosion cleientiaid o’r asesiad/atgyfeiriad cychwynnol hyd at iddynt gwblhau’r rhaglen (a thu hwnt i hynny), er mwyn monitro ac olrhain gwybodaeth a chynnydd y rhaglen.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn meddu ar gymhwyster lefel 3 a phrofiad o ddarparu cyngor a chymorth ar faterion sy’n ymwneud â chyflogadwyedd.
