Gower College Swansea is currently looking for an enthusiastic and articulate Clerical Assistant to support its busy Human Resources department.

Providing administrative support to the HR team, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Department and telephone enquiries providing a high quality service to managers and staff. Duties will include support for the recruitment process, maintaining computerised and manual records and other general office tasks.

Previous experience of working in an office is essential and previous experience of HR would be an advantage. You must have excellent IT skills and a high degree of accuracy. 5 GCSE’s with a minimum of C grade in English & Maths are also a requirement.

You will demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, be confident in dealing with people and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Welsh language skills to level 2 have been identified as desirable for this post.
