Learning Support Assistant (Reduced Year, Part Time)

Land and Animal Sciences are a small outstanding department. We have a dynamic team who are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work four days per week at our Temple Newsam Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy working with animals and are able to support students who complete practical activities at Temple Newsam on Home Farm. There will also be a requirement to support the students one afternoon per week in their classroom based lessons at our Printworks Campus You should have knowledge of SEND and Preparation for Adulthood and have experience within a classroom setting. The post holder will support students with SEND in their learning both in and out of the classroom. You would identify strategies to promote independence and ensure information on progress is recorded accurately.
