(0.8271 FTE TTO) 36 hours per week - Term time only 38 weeks.
We are expanding our high quality service to learners with SEND and require a Lead to co-ordinate the growing number of Specialist Learning Assistants.
You will need to have experience within the education sector, and have a good understanding of the support needs of individuals who have a range of support requirements in relation to a disability, learning difficulty or ESOL, English and Maths need.
You will need to be a motivated and proactive person committed to developing the service and supporting staff to enable learners to progress on course, achieve their qualifications and work towards independence.
You will be required to timetable and appraise staff and manage specialist equipment and software. You will have strong organisational skills, a multi-disciplinary approach and a good working knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans’ the Equality Act 2010 and SEND Reforms 2014.
