Lead Trainer/Assessor (Teacher Education and Professional Development)

University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit a part-time (0.4FTE) Lead Assessor to support the delivery of apprenticeships within Higher Education. The role involves assessing learners around the higher level apprenticeships, up to Level 7 in teacher education and professional development. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners to ensure timey achievement of the apprenticeship qualification. The role may also involve the co-ordination of other assessors within the Higher Education department.

Candidates would be expected to hold a relevant masters level qualification and an appropriate training/teaching qualification. Experience of assessing or teaching within Higher Education is essential.

Frequent travel is to be expected.as the postholder will be required to visit apprentices in their workplace and therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
