Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. We have a great opportunity for an experienced horticulture, agricultural/land based technician to join our Apprenticeship Department here at York.
The successful candidate will support the Apprenticeships department as a general technician/instructor within the engineering and maintenance environment by ensuring key equipment is maintained and available for delivering our apprenticeships programmes.
Educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject, the ideal applicant will have certificate/s of competence in ATV, RTV, Forklift, Abrasive wheels and chainsaw operation although full training will be provided for the right candidate. More importantly will be your recent practical experience of operating and maintaining horticulture, agricultural/land based or construction equipment and the ability to work in a safe and organised manner.
