The HR function at New City College has recently restructured creating this new and exciting role. The HR team is based at our Hackney Campus, however travel to all our sites will be required.

We are looking for two experienced HR Advisers who will work in partnership with the Senior College’s Management Team to provide advice and support on a range of HR issues across the group.
You will assist in HR projects and workforce reporting, drafting preliminary reports for the Senior HR Adviser. You will respond to employee relations issues and take responsibility for individual casework. We have recently merged 3 HR & payroll systems into one namely iTrent, you will participate in maintaining and monitoring the data on the system as well as generating reports for Senior Management.
You should be fully CIPD qualified and possess up to date knowledge and understanding of HR best practice with a good understanding of employment law. Experience of using iTrent and working in Further Education or in an educational environment would be desirable.
You must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication, numerical and inter-personal skills. It is also essential that you are well organised and able to prioritise and schedule your work to meet key deadlines.
