Associate HR Business Partner

We are excited to be recruiting for a new Associate HR Business Partner to join our amazing team of HR talent. With our current Associate HR Business Partner moving onto pastures new, we are looking for someone to join us to partner our managers in supporting our greatest asset; our people.

You will be joining the organisation during an exciting period of change and growth, working as part of a Group HR team providing HR advice and guidance specifically across our Oxfordshire colleges in Oxford and Banbury.

What you need to be successful:

This role is for a HR professional who enjoys building relationships, providing technical expertise and driving positive outcomes. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with an approachable and confident manner when dealing with people at all levels.

Be able to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

Experience of working in a fast pace HR environment and having a positive manner is essential to your success. Experience of organisational change, TUPE and restructures is essential.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Strong personal organisation skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • Ability to work with consistent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and confident use of HR systems and manipulation of data.
  • Sound demonstratable knowledge of employment law.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees at all levels.
  • CIPD Level 3 working towards CIPD Level 5 (salary £25,699 to £27,261 per annum).
  • CIPD Level 5 working towards CIPD Level 7 (starting salary £28,077 per annum with progression to £30,677 based on career progression criteria).

Benefits:

This is a permanent role working 30 hours per week, based predominantly in Oxford at City of Oxford College. There will be a requirement for travel to sites within Oxfordshire and an occasional requirement to travel to meet the wider HR team in Surrey and Berkshire.  This role enjoys 30 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, enjoys an open and friendly culture and the opportunity to inspire change within an evolving organisation.
