This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrative and Admissions Assistant to join our Apprenticeship Team at CU Coventry (CUC).
As we continue our development and growth in the apprenticeship sector, focusing on degree and higher level apprenticeships, we need to expand the administrative and admissions support function within our team.
This role requires involvement in numerous administration processes, including the application, admission & enrolment processes for all new apprenticeship learners, and the Government data return process. Additional responsibilities will include supporting financial processes, such as raising purchase orders and invoices, and setting up learners on our IT system.
Working as part of the wider apprenticeship team, this role will also help in ensuring all queries from employers, learners and university staff are handled in a positive and proactive way.
This role requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual with outstanding interpersonal and social skills. Working independently or as part of a team you will have the ability to build and maintain relationships while prioritising and reprioritising tasks as required to meet the business demands.
Attention to detail, strong customer service skills and the ability to use your initiative is crucial in this role.
You should have a good general education, excellent IT, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure being essential for the role. You should also have experience of working within a fast paced environment in an administrative role and be solutions focused. Knowledge of Higher Education, Apprenticeships and/or student enrolment/admissions processes would be advantageous
This role is recruited as full time (36.5 hours per week), though consideration will be given to part time and flexible working patterns. If you require less than 36.5 hours per week, or flexible working, please state this within your personal statement.
