We are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering to deliver to our students, who are predominantly 16 - 19 year olds following nationally recognised courses including BTEC Foundation, Diplomas, Extended Diplomas and Higher National Diplomas in Electronic Engineering.
You will be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area, have teaching experience in the field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering and ideally possess related industry experience. The ability to teach a range of automation/ control engineering subjects including microprocessor / micro controller / PIC programming, PLC, Matlab and LabView would be highly desirable. You should possess good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. You will either possess an advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (DET, PGCE) should be willing to obtain this, which will be supported financially in full by the College over the two year period of the course.
