Due to some very exciting growth, we are looking for a Chemistry Tutor to join the Science team. This is an exciting job role where you will teach small groups of international students bespoke modules from our Level 3 Programme. The job role will require a mixture of classroom and lab sessions, so you'll need to be comfortable working with 3-hour lab sessions. There will also be online marking that is to be completed. We can offer flexibility on what days you work, however, Mondays are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this job, you will be teaching areas of Chemistry to international students across our Level 3 programmes. You’ll be given the autonomy to be innovative and engaging to enhance the learning experience. You’ll undertake marking and feedback provision on a formative and summative basis, and you’ll also have the chance to support the development of the student’s independent learning.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Your experience will be in teaching Chemistry at a minimum of level 3.
  • A relevant first degree in Chemistry or a relevant subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of module development and/or module coordination (desirable)
