Apprentice Science Technician (Level 3)

The main purpose of the role is to support with the preparation for practical work in line with the science curriculum, including the setting up of equipment and apparatus in the laboratories and classrooms.

Other responsibilities include assisting in ensuring that appropriate stock levels of equipment, apparatus, materials and chemicals are checked periodically and maintained, and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the department.
