Higher Education Partnerships Officer

We are looking to recruit a Higher Education Partnerships Officer who will be responsible for coordinating and to lead on the delivery of aspiration and attainment-raising events and initiatives for local Activate Learning Colleges and state funded schools.

You will develop and deliver Information, advice and guidance workshops and activities in schools/ on our campuses and to support the government’s target of increasing the participation of students from disadvantaged backgrounds in higher education. 

This role is part of the Higher Education Outreach Network supported by the University of Surrey and so you will have the opportunity of working collaboratively with HE Partnerships Officers at the University and other institutions.

This is a project role ending in July 2020.

What do you need to be successful?

  • To have the ability to coordinate and lead on data monitoring, using accurate recording systems to measure the impact of the activities delivered.
  • Previous experience of this type of work is not essential but is important you have a passion for supporting individuals achieve their potential and aspirations.
  • You will be a self-starter who is highly organised and methodical, as well as an excellent communicator and have a strong team-work ethos.

The position is part time - 18 hours per week with variable attendance pattern.
