Hourly Paid Lecturer - English

Herefordshire and Ludlow College is a highly successful College with excellent outcomes for students, superb resources for learning and good financial health. The College operates from locations in Herefordshire & Shropshire.  We provide a diverse curriculum to over 2,000 full-time and 8,000 part-time learners. This position is a great opportunity to make a significant contribution to an already thriving College.

We are seeking a flexible, highly motivated individual with appropriate qualifications and experience to teach on the GCSE and Functional Skills courses at the college.  We are looking for a tutor to take on some hourly paid teaching and to join our bank of tutors to take on additional work as needed. Your base will be at the Hereford and Holme Lacy campuses in Herefordshire.

The role will include teaching and assessment of learners working within awarding body specifications, primarily City & Guilds and Edexcel. You will demonstrate a passion for motivating and encouraging young and mature students to achieve to the best of their ability, helping them to realise the goals that will change their lives.
