Harrogate College is a general further education college that serves the Harrogate District. The college has a wide curriculum offer for 16 to 18 year olds, adults and apprentices. The vision for the college is to be the provider of choice for technical and vocational education in the Harrogate District. This vision will be built on high quality education delivered by industry trained professionals to meet the needs of the community it serves.

To support that vision we are looking to appoint two Programme Managers for the School of Cultural, Contemporary & Heritage Studies. The role will involve the performance management of staff with strategic responsibilities linked to quality of education including, teaching learning assessment, quality assurance and the progression of learners to positive destinations.

The impact of this role is to ensure all students have an outstanding learning experience, are retained at college where they develop their knowledge and understanding of their subject and the relevant skills for their next level of study or employment. We are looking for individuals who have a natural can do attitude, will embrace change and empower staff and students to achieve outstanding progress.
