This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at CU London.
CU London are seeking to recruit a Student Counsellor/Mental Health Adviser to undertake triage and initial assessment. Providing short term focussed counselling and signposting students to appropriate external support agencies including NHS and voluntary organisations.
You will be professionally qualified, a fully accredited member of BACP or registered by another appropriate professional body. You will have relevant experience of providing Counselling, Group Work and Workshops in a similar organisational setting.
Applicants must be qualified to postgraduate/diploma level in counselling or psychotherapy and have substantial relevant post-qualification experience. The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure under Disclosure and Barring Service. Multi-disciplinary team working and the ability to manage your own caseload are essential, together with the flexibility to provide support at two locations Dagenham and Greenwich.
