We are seeking to appoint a new academic to join our BA (Hons) Counselling: Integrative Theory and Practice within our Health and Social Care Department. As an enthusiastic and proactive individual, you will make a substantial contribution to teaching, administrative and training activities across this degree programme and take an active part in providing high quality teaching and practices in integrative counselling. It is essential that you have an innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment with a willingness to teach across multiple core areas and the ability to contribute to curriculum development.
It is essential you hold at least a First Degree in a relevant Discipline/equivalent professional qualification or significant practical work experience in a related discipline. You will have or be willing to achieve a relevant Teaching Qualification such as PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation. Candidates must be registered with the relevant professional body (such as BACP, UKCP or HCPC).
