A vacancy has arisen for a highly skilled SEND Support Coordinator to join our team, recently judged as Outstanding by Ofsted. The post will be based at the The Foundry working with curriculum and pastoral staff as well as external schools. You will have excellent knowledge of SEND and the EHCP process. You will be required to write SMART Preparation for Adulthood outcomes and identify accurate provisions to enable young people aged 14 to 25 years to achieve their aspirations and be prepared for independent living, employment or further education. There is line management within the role and overseeing a team of support workers. There is a requirement to provide staff development within the teams and curriculum areas. Good verbal and written communication is essential along with excellent ICT skills, use of Google platforms and recording of data.
