This is an exciting opportunity to join Leeds City College’s Careers, Work Experience & Progression team as a Higher Education Progression Officer. The successful applicant will motivate and engage students to increase participation in progression to higher education as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Project (NCOP). This will include coordinating and delivering existing progression initiatives, supporting the Progression & Work Skills Lead to create the NCOP plan and developing new progression initiatives, as well as collecting and recording accurate participation data. The post holder needs to be able to enthuse young people to engage with events and activities, have the ability to work with internal and external partners, and be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

This post is funded by the National Collaborative Outreach Project and therefore is a fixed term contract. Funding though is currently confirmed until 31st July 2020, and it is likely this will continue until 31st July 2021.
