An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MIS Analyst to join a dynamic and busy team who, working closely with academic and support staff, seek to maximise the use and development of our student record system and any other MIS college systems.

We are looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm to support and build upon a fairly new MIS team and to work with other teams across the college.

The main purpose of the role is to design, develop and deploy accurate and efficient student management information systems that enable the provision and proactive use of robust and accurate college data.

The role will involve producing accurate MIS reports using SQL and then undertake the analysis and translation of them into clear, concise and meaningful business information which can effectively be used throughout the College. The role holder will also undertake System Development primarily to maximize the use of a new Student Record System as well as develop a suite of additional systems/reports that feed/link into the Student Record System. Alongside this the role holder will be involved in developing Powerbi Dashboards, and may be required to write applications, web development and asp.net along with the maintenance of software and Management Information systems.

The successful applicant will ideally have, among other criteria, relevant degree/professional qualifications and/or equivalent experience including the ability to write SQL queries, views and stored procedures to access data and experience of using SQL Reporting Services, Report Builder 3.0 and/or PowerBI to design reports/dashboards.

Please note, you must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
