Leeds City College is one of the UK’s largest FE establishments with around 1400 employees and over 22,370 students. Offering a diverse curriculum within a vibrant and multicultural learning environment, our goal is to deliver excellent and innovative education which supports and inspires every student to achieve their ambitions.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious person to join our growing apprenticeship team as a Course Leader. This role is based at our Printworks Campus.
We offer apprenticeships in a range of engineering and motor vehicle areas. The Engineering School is supportive and expanding, we would like to add to that team with someone who has an understanding of the day-to-day aspects of apprenticeships.
This person would be involved in the operational aspects of data management and need to have an understanding of the funding regulations/practices with apprenticeship delivery. Having an operational understanding of One File would be a distinct advantage.
Printworks Campus consists of a stunning listed building that underwent a multi-million pound renovation to offer students state-of-the-art facilities. Printworks’ modern classrooms, tailored engineering workshops and dynamic working spaces create realistic environments for students to train.
Leeds City College is committed to Equality of Opportunity (ensuring everyone is treated fairly) and safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check as well as mandatory pre-employment checks which may also include checking social media profiles.
