Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. We have a great opportunity for an experienced Course Manager/Lecturer in Sports Turf to join our Apprenticeship Department here at York.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating training processes for apprentices on the program to ensure a high quality experience and timely achievement of their apprenticeship. Carrying out lecturer/training and assessor responsibilities to an agreed caseload across a number of college sites, you will provide regular and timely reports to the Head of Apprenticeships and comply with current funding and qualification requirements.
Educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject, candidates should hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards this within 12 months. With recent vocational experience and good sector-based links, you will ensure the curriculum is planned to meet employer and sector needs.
