Lead HE Study Support Teacher

Activate Learning are a forward thinking, successful education group whose mission is to provide opportunities for learning with a focus on students gaining the skills they need to progress on to employment or higher education, transforming lives through our learning philosophy.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised, solution focused Lead HE study support teacher to join our Group Learning Support (GLS) higher education team. You will coordinate and lead on data monitoring, using accurate recording systems to measure impact of support and accessing the widening participation plan in line with audit criteria. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of study skills support and mentoring support, which will ultimately maximise our learners' retention and achievement.

You should demonstrate previous experience in supporting mature learners with difficulties and disabilities in a higher education setting, as well as delivering an inclusive support service that all HE students can access.  You will be highly organised and methodical, as well as an excellent communicator and have a strong team-work ethos, working closely with other teams within GLS. A good knowledge of SEND and the Disabled Students Allowance process is essential.  Travel to alternative campuses will be expected as required. 

The position is full time (37 hours) per week, 08:30 – 17:00
