HE Lecturer (Games)

University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit two full-time members of staff to teach on its expanding portfolio of programmes in Games Design and Animation. Programme leadership duties may also be required.

Successful candidates will hold a degree level qualification in a games design, animation or related subject area and possess a teaching qualification or be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

You should have experience of teaching on under-graduate Games Design and Animation programmes of study and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovative teaching strategies appropriate to this subject area.

You will also have games industry experience that informs your teaching practice. Ideally, you will possess development experience that includes the use of Unity Games Engine, Unreal Games Engine, Lumberyard, Autodesk Entertainment Suite (Preferably Maya), Adobe Creative Suite and Pixologic-Zbrush 4R7.
