Foundation Studies (Programmes for Students with Learning Difficulties)

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to take responsibility within our Foundation Studies area for co-ordinating, developing and enhancing programmes of study as directed by the Head of Provision and Support for SLDD and 14-16.

The successful candidate will facilitate change and innovation and ensure delivery against agreed targets, and have responsibility for line management and support of staff assigned to their area of responsibility.

You would also manage internal verification processes and facilitate external awarding bodies samples and visits, carrying out Annual reviews for Students with EHCPs and liaise with employers for Students on Supported Internships.

Student Experience Leads have a teaching commitment on a range of programmes delivered in the area.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to Degree level, have a teaching qualification and an SEN qualification.
