University Centre Doncaster is seeking to recruit a 0.6 member of staff to teach on its BA(Hons) Creative Music Technology programme. Programme leadership duties are also required. The post is fixed term for one year with potential to be extended to two years.

Successful candidates will ideally hold a Masters level qualification in Music Technology or related subject area and possess a teaching qualification or be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

You should have experience of teaching on under-graduate Music Technology programmes of study and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovative teaching strategies appropriate to this subject area.

You will be required to teach various modules across the programme including: Music Composition, Sampling & Synthesis, Performance Technology and Dissertation. Essential to the role is in depth knowledge and experience of the following specialist software: Logic X, Max MSP and Ableton.
