Higher Education Lead Trainer/Assessor - Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

The University Centre Doncaster is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Lead Assessor to deliver on the “Advanced Manufacturing Framework” that covers a varied range of units/pathways at level 4 both within the department and at employer premises. The role will include delivery and assessment of apprenticeship qualifications.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery of a case load of work which will include assessment and training activities, quality/audit compliance, student guidance and support. You will ensure that appropriate developments are undertaken to support delivery against quality assurance, self-assessment processes, case load targets and objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served engineer with relevant industry experience in a range of disciplines as appropriate for “Advanced Manufacturing Engineering” L4 Pathway.

You must be a qualified assessor holding an A1 or equivalent. A V1 award would be desirable.

Experience working within the higher education sector monitoring apprentice progress will be an advantage.

You should have good communication skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be fully committed to working within a higher education environment.
