Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to teach within the curriculum area of Mechanical Engineering.

The successful applicant must have experience gained from working within industry and will primarily be delivering practical workshop based units including fitting, assembly, turning and milling. Experience and knowledge of hydraulics would be a distinct advantage.

You will be enthusiastic and fully committed to working with young people. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will ideally be a qualified and experienced teacher, however financial support may be available to gain a teaching qualification if you do not currently hold one but have substantial industry knowledge and experience in this curriculum area.

Applicants should hold the A1 Assessor Award or equivalent.
