External Funding Officer

Pembrokeshire College is seeking to appoint an External Funding Officer to work within the Resources Directorate and to directly manage the team of External Funding Administrators. This post is advertised on a full-time, permanent basis. 

Pembrokeshire College has a long history of successfully securing external funding to support its core aims and objectives. The College External Funding department is central to this. Pembrokeshire College is looking for an individual to work within this department, reporting to the External Funding Manager. The External Funding Officer will maximise eligible expenditure whilst ensuring compliance with Pembrokeshire College and funding body requirements.

Salary Details:

£22,260- £23,378, BAR £24,103- £27,654 pro rata
(equivalent to £11.57– £12.15 BAR £12.53- £14.37 per hour)

Hours of work:

37 hours per week over 5 days

Holiday Entitlement:

28 days annual leave plus 8 Bank holidays per annum

Qualifications:

Qualified to Level 4 in a relevant financial discipline

Experience:

You will have a strong track record of accounting experience and be able to demonstrate good knowledge of accounting principles; ideally having gained this working in a Further Education environment and demonstrate an accuracy and precision in data compilation and presentation. You will also have experience of line managing/team leading within an administrative, secretarial, customer service or financial setting.
