Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England. We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our Student Support Department here at York, within spectacular grounds. This role will be working 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate will address the mental well-being of students, co-ordinate provision of appropriate in college support, and refer on to specialist external agencies, where necessary.
You must be educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, and have a recognised professional qualification relevant to the post. You will have experience as a practitioner with expertise in supporting people with mental health difficulties particularly young people and adults with a wide variety of issues and needs in a counselling/support environment. The successful candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work flexibly.
