Learning Technology Administrator

Contract: 22.5hrs a week (Maternity Cover)

Location: Base site Clarendon. Will be required to work across all sites.

An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Technologies Administrator to join the Learning Technology team at Nottingham College. The Learning Technology team, who have been recently recognised for their teaching and learning that inspires, are constantly striving towards achieving excellence with regards to the use of technology and believe that this is paramount to a Student’s learning experience whilst studying at Nottingham College. The team pride themselves on keeping up to date with current digital learning trends in order to be innovative.

We are seeking applicants who are proactive, self-motivated and well-organised. You will have experience of taking minutes and will be an excellent team player with the proven ability to work well under pressure. You will be able to operate using your own initiative and professional judgement and will possess the skill to multitask and complete tasks promptly and accurately.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a solution-focused approach to all tasks and extensive experience of using Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel. It is important to the team that their work is promoted & that they have a presence online. The effective use of social media platforms is therefore advantageous.

The post-holder will be involved in working with students and staff both from within the Curriculum areas and across the College. There will also be a requirement to interface with colleagues of varying levels of seniority within the College. Strong customer focus, influencing and negotiating skills are therefore essential.
