Learner Transition Co-ordinator

Pembrokeshire College is looking to appoint a Learner Transition Co-ordinator as part of the Faculty of Inclusion to ensure that appropriate levels of guidance, information  and support are provided for learners with Additional Learning Needs at all stages of their learning programme and transition into, within and out of the College environment.

Salary Details:

£22,260—£24,103 pro rata equivalent to £11.57– £12.53 (per hour (fractionalised posts are paid in equal amounts over 12 months and the appropriate element of holiday pay will be incorporated into the calculation)

Hours of Work:

22 hours per week x 38 weeks per year
(The College academic year plus 2 administrative weeks)

Qualifications:

Qualified to a minimum Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a professional discipline. Maths and English GCSE at Grade C.

Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check prior to commencing work (this is to be paid for by the individual at a cost of £44).

With effect from 1st April 2016 all FE Support Workers in Wales are required to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), prior to commencing employment (this is to be paid for by the individual at a cost of £45).
