Loughborough has always been renowned as a Centre of Excellence for Sport, Exercise and Fitness. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to work within our Sport Department based at the College with a specific area of responsibility within the Sport Work Related Learning team to coordinate and lead our Women’s Football Diploma in Sporting Excellence programme (formerly the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence).
The Sport Work Related Learning Co-ordinator will be responsible for working with external stakeholders, such as the FA and Women’s Super League clubs, to develop, deliver and quality assure the new women’s football DiSE programme. As part of this role the individual would also be involved in assessing and acting as a progress tutor for learners.
The post holder will be responsible for liaising with external stakeholders and subcontractors as well as developing outstanding provision. The Co-ordinator will be responsible for supporting other staff, such as consultants/specialists, and assessors working on their programmes and be involved in quality assurance and quality improvement systems.
