This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the rapidly expanding Apprenticeship team at Nottingham College.  This is a fundamental role that helps generate high quality placements for our learners seeking apprenticeship opportunities.  The role will be solely based on employer engagement and account management of our existing employer relationships.  The role will involve educating employers new to apprenticeships about the benefits of recruiting new and unexperienced people in to their business, provide support and information required to make this an exciting and stress free process for them and also to ensure that our existing clients are maximising on current opportunities for growth and supporting them with this.

We are passionate about helping companies of all sizes and also to educate them on the importance of inclusive and diverse workforces and this role is an ideal way to do this.

We are looking for a tenacious self-starter, who is dedicated to helping shape the future careers of our students at Nottingham College and who will help us ensure that Nottingham College is providing a curriculum suitable for the ever changing needs of industry.  You will become an Industry Specialist for a designated Industry and you will be expected to champion employer needs and help support the Head of Industries in driving change required.  

This role has a high level of autonomy and therefore self-management, organisation, reliability and professionalism is key at all times. Strong IT skills are required with a working knowledge of the full Microsoft office suite.  It would also be beneficial for you to have a full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.  However, if you are comfortable travelling on public transport and believe you can make this cost and time effective we are happy to support.

Experience within this sector or a recruitment background is not essential but would be beneficial.
