Main Description
Are you looking to start a career in Engineering? Do you have a practical mindset? Apply today if this is the role for you!
Compliance with all health and safety legislation and the company's own safety rules is a pre-requisite.
Responsibilities to include:
Initially working in the Company's main workshop in Duston, Northampton on refurbishment of components for use on client's equipment and on the overhaul of gas engine driven electricity generating plant.
Following an induction period, you will progress to working at client's sites performing routine servicing against a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule (PPM) and/or as dispatched by HO.
Your primary task will be to learn and develop your skills in order to perform these tasks to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) availability measured in percentage terms.
At times you will be required to work as part of a team typically four technicians, you will be performing minor 'in frame' overhauls on a variety of gas engines working away from home for periods of extended days to complete the work in quick time, minimising equipment down time and thus the expense to the client in revenue loss.
