Level 2 Chef Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship Rates are age dependent:

(16yrs to 17yrs)  £4.51 per hour or £8,701 PA

(18yrs to 20yrs) £6.31 per hour or £12,173 PA

(21yrs to 24yrs) £7.86 per hour or £15,163 PA

(25+yrs) £8.21 per hour or £15,839 PA

This is a fixed term contract for 15 months. 

Monday to Friday: working at least two nights a month and very occasional weekend work.

Benefits include 27 days holidays plus bank holidays. (Closed over Christmas period).

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, hands on apprentice to join our Kitchen and Bar team within the Printworks Campus of Leeds City College. You will work and be mentored by the Food Service Manager, working alongside other apprentices assisting them with the day to day production of fresh food and call orders in our busy kitchen. You will attend College one day a week, and work 4 days in the kitchen. You will have a passion for food, be a team player and have a can do attitude, and be able to deliver a high standard of catering to our customers.If you already have a level 2 (or equivalent) apprenticeship there is an opportunity to do a level 3 apprenticeship instead.
