The purpose of this rewarding role is to make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum, in line with the College’s Quality Improvement Strategy and to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience for all students on the course/s.

You will be required to plan and deliver lessons, based in classrooms and within a workshop environment to students on study programmes and apprenticeship frameworks/standards. You will assess students in accordance with the requirements of the programme, and will be responsible for developing programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of learners, employers and in line with Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements.   

The qualifications deemed essential for this post are a Level 3 (NVQ or equivalent) or above in subject specific area, ACS gas qualification or willingness to undertake within agreed timescale, minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C), and a level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake within an agreed timescale.
