Are you skilled in Fabrication and Welding and General Engineering, or are you an Engineer or Manager with a Fabrication and Welding apprenticeship background?

Are you looking for a change in career and a chance to pass on your knowledge?

We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable person, who has the desire to continue to learn and to pass on their passion for their subject to the next generation, to join our team at Inverness College UHI. You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages. You will deliver Fabrication and Welding, and Engineering subjects, to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels both in practical and theoretical classes.

As a professional member of the teaching staff of Inverness College UHI, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work. You will also be someone who can work in a team and actively engage in developing new curriculum and opportunities.

To apply for this vacancy, you must be qualified in Fabrication and Welding as well as to at least HNC level (HNC or equivalent qualification) and have industrial experience.
