Status: Fixed Term, Term time only (21 hours per week).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Maths and/or English to support the Maths and English Department to deliver high quality teaching to Equine students at Reaseheath College and out-centres. These are Burrows Lane Equestrian Centre, Burrows Lane Farm,Burrows Lane, Eccleston, Prescott, Merseyside, L34 6JQ and Croft End Equestrian Centre, Knott Lane, Oldham OL8 3JD.

In partnership with Burrows Lane Equestrian Centre, Reaseheath College offers programmes including Level 1 Work-based Horse Care, Level 2 in Horse Care, and Level 3 in Horse Management

If you share that commitment, we need you to help support us in developing a centralised and specialised Maths and English Department to raise the standards of these essential skills at Reaseheath College and our out-centres.

You will be required to teach GCSE and Functional Skills in Maths and/or English to students from across the curriculum. You will possess a minimum of a Degree level qualification (in Maths or English) and a recognised teaching qualification.

 Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required toundertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
