Business Development Manager – Construction

Do you have a proven track record within a target driven sales environment? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of an Ofsted rated Outstanding College. Dudley College of Technology is now operating a brand new Centre at Waltham Forest London.

You will be engaging and working in partnership with employers, advising on Apprenticeships and the Apprenticeship Levy and conducting training needs analysis with employers to devise effective training and recruitment plans.

You will be proactively promoting Waltham Forest Advanced Building Technology Centre and Dudley College of Technology through identifying, engaging and securing new business via outbound sales calls, networking, presentations and face to face meetings.

Joining a highly successful and supportive team you will be involved in all aspects of business engagement from identifying markets, through to building strong customer relationships and on-going account management. Working closely with curriculum teams to ensure employers’ needs are met, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to generate sales, manage multiple requirements at the same time and the drive and determination to exceed targets and deliver first class customer service.

Applications from those with a sound knowledge of the Apprenticeship training landscape in a construction context is desirable. 

Knowledge and experience of working in a relevant field such as Apprenticeships, careers or recruitment is essential.
